If you purchase a Miyoo A30 with a microSD card, this first section is for you if you wish to install MinUI on it. On the other hand, we advise double-checking the microSD card itself. If it doesn't have any branding, you should probably copy everything over to one from a respectable company.
Simply inserting both microSD cards into your computer and formatting the new one is all that is required. Before continuing, copy every file from the "old" microSD card to the new one. Because retro handheld firms use inexpensive, unbranded cards with their handhelds, doing this should reduce the likelihood that your microSD card will fail.
In light of this, here's how to set up MinUI on the Miyoo A30:
- Get the most recent MinUI release from GitHub and extract it. MinUI Releases
- Please remove your Miyoo A30's microSD card and attach it to your PC.
- Extract the MinUI folder and open it.
- Transfer the miyoo folder and MinUI.zip files to the microSD card.
- Be careful when choosing Replace if you are prompted about duplicate files.
- The Bios folder should open.
- Verify that the following BIOS files are present in the appropriate folders:
- FC: disksys.rom
- GB: gb_bios.bin
- GBA: gba_bios.bin
- GBC: gbc_bios.bin
- MD:
- bios_CD_E.bin
- bios_CD_J.bin
- bios_CD_U.bin
- PS: psxonmpsp660.bin
- Put your microSD card back into your Miyoo A30 after ejecting it.
- Turn on your A30.
You should see a loading screen with the words "Installing MinUI" after a few seconds. You'll be led straight to the main screen to begin playing games, so hold on tight.

- Verify that 7-Zip is installed on your PC.

- Download the firmware for the Miyoo A30.

- After downloading each ZIP file, select each one by highlighting it.
- Click Show More Options after right-clicking on the files that are highlighted.
- Move the mouse pointer above 7Zip and choose Extract to "\."
- Await the completion of the extraction and merging of the files.
- Put your computer's microSD card in.
- Open Rufus after downloading and installing it.
Rufus
- Verify that the Device option is chosen for your new microSD card.
- Click Non-bootable in the Boot option.
- Click the File System drop-down menu.
- Choose Large FAT32 or FAT32.
- Press the START button.
- Wait for your microSD card to finish being formatted.
- To upload the relevant MinUI files to the microSD card, follow the instructions in the previous section.
Once the transfer is complete, safely remove the microSD card from your computer. After that, simply plug it into your Miyoo A30 and switch it on! If everything is completed correctly, a loading screen titled "MinUI Installing" will show up. A few more minutes of waiting, and presto!
